ClawDroid ("we", "us", "our") operates the ClawDroid mobile application and the website at clawdroid.app (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Service.

By using ClawDroid, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2.1 Information You Provide

  • Account information: email address, name, and authentication credentials when you create an account (directly or via Google Sign-In).
  • Waitlist information: email address when you join our waitlist.
  • Chat content: messages, files, and images you send to your AI agent.
  • Payment information: subscription purchases are processed by Google Play or Apple App Store. We do not directly collect or store your payment card details.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Device information: device type, operating system version, unique device identifiers.
  • Usage data: features used, actions taken, timestamps, and session duration.
  • IP address: collected for security, rate limiting, and fraud prevention.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide, operate, and maintain the Service.
  • To create and manage your account and AI agent instance.
  • To process your subscription and enforce usage limits.
  • To provide your AI agent with context and memory for personalized responses.
  • To communicate with you about updates, security alerts, and support.
  • To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and technical issues.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

4. Data Isolation & Security

Each user receives their own isolated AI agent instance. Your conversations, files, memory, and agent data are stored separately and are never shared with or accessible by other users.

We implement industry-standard security measures including:

  • TLS encryption for all data in transit.
  • Per-user authentication tokens for agent access.
  • Workspace isolation at the infrastructure level.
  • Firewall-restricted server access.

5. Data Storage & Location

All user data is stored on servers located in the European Union (Hetzner data centers in Germany/Finland). We are committed to GDPR compliance and ensuring your data remains within the EU.

6. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate ClawDroid:

  • Supabase: authentication and database (EU-hosted).
  • RevenueCat: subscription management and purchase validation.
  • Google Play / Apple App Store: app distribution and payment processing.
  • Cloudflare: website hosting and CDN.
  • AI model providers: your messages are sent to AI model providers (e.g., Anthropic, Google) to generate responses. These providers process data according to their own privacy policies and API terms, which typically prohibit using API inputs for model training.

7. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. When you delete your account:

  • Your AI agent instance is deprovisioned and all agent data (conversations, memory, files) is permanently deleted.
  • Your account record is removed from our database.
  • Anonymized usage analytics may be retained.

8. Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have the following rights:

  • Access: request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Rectification: request correction of inaccurate personal data.
  • Erasure: request deletion of your personal data.
  • Restriction: request restriction of processing of your personal data.
  • Portability: request a machine-readable copy of your personal data.
  • Objection: object to processing of your personal data.

9. Children's Privacy

ClawDroid is not intended for children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the EEA). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
